A $22 Million P3 Development in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Forum Leasehold Partners identified Public Private Partnerships (P3) projects as an emerging and growing segment of the real estate development industry in 2002.  To date, Forum has successfully developed four P3 initiatives in Canada:

  • Ontario Power Generation Building, Pickering, Ontario - $12 million- design/build/lease/operate/transfer - 2002
  • Ottawa Paramedic Service Headquarters, Ottawa, Ontario- $22 million - design/build/lease/operate/ transfer - 2005
  • Hamilton Capital Corporation, Hamilton, Ontario - Co-investment initiative targeting downtown Hamilton - target total investment $50 million - 2006
  • Orleans Town Centre, Orleans, Ontario - $225 million - 2007

Forum has been successful in partnering with key service providers like Johnson Controls/BLJC, Aecon Buildings Group, Stuart Olson Construction, Trammell Crow, among others, to structure cost efficient proposals that create value and exceed expectations.  Recently, Forum has partnered with Capital Sports Management Group, an affiliate of the Ottawa Senators in order to design build and operate arenas in various municipalities across Canada.
